ERISAT is recruiting an Accounting / Administrative Secretary

We are looking for an Accounting / Administrative Secretary for our subsidiary ERISAT based in Mauritius. Discover all the details of the offer in this article.

ERISAT, SME located in Mauritius, subsidiary of a Leader group in the satellite telecommunications sector in the Maritime sector, is recruiting, as part of its development:

an accounting administrative assistant

to complement its team in Mauritius.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will be responsible:

  • for Administrative tasks (Administrative in charge)

  • accounts relations for accounts management company / accounts management, creditors / debtors and others 

  • Stock Management / Stock Monitoring, Control and updates

  • payroll Management

  • import / export management

  • staff attendance register

  • docs / letters / invoice editing and record keeping

  • creditors follow up and payments

  • monthly reports relating to activity 

  • editing of manuals, short documents, procedures related to company services and hardware

  • Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.

  • assist other staffs in daily works in regards to daily activities

  • liaise with our sister companies for intercompany activities  

  • answering calls, taking messages and handling correspondence

  • maintaining diaries and arranging appointments

  • typing, preparing and collating reports

  • filing and logs

  • organizing and servicing meetings (producing agendas and taking minutes)

  • managing databases

  • prioritizing workloads

  • implementing new procedures and administrative systems

  • liaising with relevant organizations and clients

  • coordinating mail-shots and similar publicity tasks

  • logging or processing bills or expenses

  • acting as a receptionist and/or meeting and greeting clients

  • travel formalities handling 

  • perform tasks as requested by our main office in France

  • other duties as assigned


Skills required:

  • Proven work experience as a secretary or administrative role  

  • Familiarity with office organization and optimization techniques 

  • High degree of multi-tasking and time management capability 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (French and English) Spanish would be a plus

  • Integrity and professionalism 

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Image editing tools, Web usage

  • Good communication, customer service and relationship-building skills

  • Teamworking skills

  • Organisation and time management skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Negotiation skills

  • Assertiveness

  • Tact, discretion and diplomacy
