POLAR POD PROJECT
THALOS connects the Perseverance, a supply vessel for the POLAR POD
THALOS, in charge of the vessel's connectivity, has deployed its OceanBox² solution and a VSAT satellite communication system with an Iridium Certus as backup.
This configuration offering both high speed and a stable multimodal link will allow the Perseverance to remain permanently connected to accomplish its missions of supplying the POLAR POD drifting ocean platform in the Southern Ocean.
