Systems and Networks Technician (including Weekend Supervision & Monitoring)

The ERISAT team is growing! We are looking for a Systems and Networks Technician – Supervision and Control (during weeks and weekends) to join us. For more information, see this article.

Main mission

Proactively monitor, track, and control the company’s system and network infrastructure including weekends and French public holidays, in order to guarantee availability, performance, and service continuity.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor systems, networks, and applications in real time using monitoring tools (Nagios, Grafana, etc.).
  • Detect, analyze, and escalate alerts and incidents according to established procedures.
  • Perform an initial technical diagnosis (level 1) and apply basic corrective actions.
  • Track incident tickets and ensure the traceability of interventions.
  • Write activity reports and incident reports.
  • Collaborate with on-call or intervention teams if higher-level action is required.
  • Propose improvements to monitoring and supervision procedures.

Required technical skills

  • Solid knowledge of system administration (Windows, Linux) and networks (TCP/IP, VPN, firewall, switch, router).
  • Proficiency in supervision and monitoring tools.
  • Good understanding of incident management.
  • Ability to use a ticketing tool.
  • Knowledge of virtualized environments (Qemu, VMware) appreciated.

Required profile

  • Two to three years of higher education in IT (BTS in IT services, DUT in Networks and Telecoms, professional bachelor’s degree, or equivalent).
  • Initial experience in systems and network supervision or support appreciated.
  • Availability to work weekends (fixed or rotating schedules).

Working conditions

  • On-site position (with the possibility of remote work depending on the organization).
